Fort Worth Animal Control Trapping & Fort Worth Critter Removal

Fort Worth Snake Removal & Fort Worth Snake Trappping

If we have to set traps we only set live traps like the one pictured to the right. This trap allows the animal to enter in search of food , get caught , and be removed from the property without being harmed. This trap is safe to set because it cannot hurt the animal and also it cannot hurt any little kid fooling around with it. We take great pride in placement, this keeps the trap hidden from public eye, and keeps a trapped animal safe and not stressed. Groundhogs and wood chucks are living under the porch, trapping and concrete exclusions can solve your problems.

Raccoons Are the most frequent intruders in Fort Worth. They are using the sewers as highways around the city. Raccoons in the city are crafty creatures, the use attic fans and chimneys to access your house. these animals also refuse to pay rent. eviction and exclusion are the best way to deal with them. you can trap them every day in Fort Worth, but another one moves in. Wasted money if you ask me.

Fort Worth is on the rise for baby Squirrel's

Squirrels build nests of branches and leaves and other material's that can be laying around your home. However, they may also choose to nest in home owner's attics which they can chew on wires and pipes and cause major damage, which can cause potentially cause serious problems.
There are generally two breeding seasons, one in late winter continuing into early spring and the other in the summer continuing into the autumn months. Three or four baby Squirrels are born in each litter. The baby squirrel leave the nest after 10-12 weeks. An adult can live around 5-6 years of age, although death is very high during the first year.
With having a long breeding season, it is possible to find young in the nest at any time except from October to January. Any work for removal of squirrels from a house should take this into account.
As we don't advise killing squirrels just because they are causing some inconvenience, please consider alternatives.
Damage from Squirrels chewing in Fort Worth

Squirrels have teeth that continually grow so that they stay sharp this is good for the squirrel too crack nuts but not good for your home these razor sharp teeth can chew through your home and also damage wiring. They use their teeth to crack open nuts, and for chewing through things to get to food. Often when squirrels chew on wires or rocks, they are keeping their teeth worn down a bit but still sharp. Their claws are used for digging up the dirt for stored foods or for tearing down barriers to get to foods. Their paws are flexible with individual digits allowing them to reach into small places and to hold on to the small foods they eat. A squirrel's bushy tail is also used in an indirect way during a food search. The tail helps the squirrel balance among the tree branches or along fences and roofs and also wires. The last part of anatomy that helps a squirrel find food is its big eyes that can see to the sides very well. However, they are not good for seeing directly in front of them so for that they rely on their keen sense of smell to locate the food.

Woodchucks are a very common pest in the wildlife removal industry. A woodchuck can dig 5 feet of tunnel a day. They are most active above ground during the early morning and afternoon and late afternoon, early evening during hot days. they are not very tolerant of the hot temperatures. I have seen some very old woodchuck dens large enough to park a large car inside. they will usually have more than one entrance to their tunnel system. I have popped green smoke into a tunnel entrance once and blew it in with a fan and found the other tunnel over a quarter of a mile away. The tunnel went under city streets and sewer systems. Woodchucks are true hibernators they go underground and den up together, sometimes many woodchucks den together for added warmth. they eat as much as they can during the warm months so they have enough fat to make it through the winter. Spring flooding can lead to many fatalities by drowning.
Woodchucks are the double whopper with cheese of the animal kingdom, if there is a predator around then he is looking for that woodchuck for his next meal. woodchucks have one litter a year with anywhere from 2 - 8 in a litter. I have only seen 8 in a litter a few times, the average is 4. Woodchucks are a more solitary creature and dont hang out in groups. If you have a woodchuck problem then give us a call, we can trap them out and discuss other alternative options if they exist.
