Customer called and has a raccoon in his basement, it has entered through the chimney. After inspection was completed we did not find the raccoon, we are sure that the homeowner scared him away. We installed a chimney cap so this would not happen again. Raccoons and other animals such as bats will enter a chimney if there is no cap in place.
