has raccoon in his attic: When our Technician arrives at your home the
first thing that he will do is ask you questions about what you have
been hearing, where you have been hearing it and what time of day or
night you are hearing noises. Then he will want to inspect your attic.
After the attic inspection he will know what animal or animals he is
dealing with. After the attic inspection he will inspect your roof and
around the ground level of your home. When this is completed we will
know where the animal or animals are entering your home. The entry point
on this home was through the gable vent. The animal we are dealing with
is a raccoon. The technician installed a one-way door for the raccoon
to leave the the home. The one-way door will allow the animal to leave
and once it has left it will not be able to gain entry again. We will
leave the one-way door up 2-3 days and then we will seal up the entry
point.

remove the one-way door and install a heavy wire mess over the gable
vent from the inside of the home. Customer did not want the expense of
replacing the gable vent. He is having the home sided this summer and a
new gable vent will be installed at that time.
