At Torrington US Animal Control we specialize in removing Animals and wildlife from your attics and properties. We locate your animals entrance, get the offending critter out, then we seal the entrance. When we remove an animal from you house we GUARANTEE the animal will not be able to return to your house. 90% of our work id done through exclusion, this means closing of areas animals can enter.
Animal Exclusion is the best HUMANE way to get rid of animals Permanently. Many Of Torrington's Creatures Are Raccoons Squirrels And Rats. We are frequently excluding raccoons from chimneys and attics, and rats from ceilings. We never use poison or killing style traps.

Torrington Animal Control Trapping & Torrington Critter Removal
Torrington Snake Removal & Torrington Snake Trappping
If we have to set traps we only set live traps like the one pictured to the right. This trap allows the animal to enter in search of food , get caught , and be removed from the property without being harmed. This trap is safe to set because it cannot hurt the animal and also it cannot hurt any little kid fooling around with it. We take great pride in placement, this keeps the trap hidden from public eye, and keeps a trapped animal safe and not stressed. Groundhogs and wood chucks are living under the porch, trapping and concrete exclusions can solve your problems.

Raccoons Are the most frequent intruders in Torrington. They are using the sewers as highways around the city. Raccoons in the city are crafty creatures, the use attic fans and chimneys to access your house. these animals also refuse to pay rent. eviction and exclusion are the best way to deal with them. you can trap them every day in Torrington, but another one moves in. Wasted money if you ask me.

During the months of June and July the mother bats are raising their babies. The flying mammals are the most gentle creature you will ever come across, if you get by the media fear factor. I have rescued hundreds of babies and reunited them with their mothers. When I pick the babies up they nuzzle my fingers. Rabies is so few and far between. of all the reasons I have to get a rabies booster shot, bats are at the bottom of the list. at the beginning of August and through to September is when I get the majority of my bat calls from bats flying around, this is when the babies start flying and getting lost. They are almost fully grown once they start flying in the beginning of august. These times do change in different areas of the country.
Lets put this into perspective, if you walked into a cave a came face to face with a grizzly bear the size of your house, would you walk up and attack the bear? NO, you wouldn't. If the bear was in there sleeping and you had to sneak by him to get out and half way out he rolled over and pinned you under his arm, would you bite him? NO, you wouldn't Bats don't attack humans, animals are all about survival they don't attack animals without a very good reason, like food. They will of course bite you if you decide to pick them up. This is when you should call a trained professional, we are the trained professionals that help in just these situations. with over 28 years of experience we can help and answer any of your questions.
We do not do any bat exclusions during the months of June and July. Anyone that tells you it is ok to do a full exclusion during these times is ling to you. This can lead to mother bats being seperated from their babies and nothing good can come from it. the smell of rotting corpses, the adult mothers hanging around your house trying to get in during the day and not to mention how inhumane it is. Babies become lost when they follow the wrong air current. they follow the air current to lead them outside but when people run their air conditioning, open windows or turn the fans on it draws a bigger air current from where the bats are living and brings the current into the house which the bats follow, thinking they are going outside when they end up in the human living quarters.
